Biography

• Born in Egypt on January 1965
• Graduated High School with honors (Tewksbury, MA)
• Attended Cairo University School of Medicine and graduated with honors in 1988
• Attended Pennsylvania State University for Internal medicine and served as Chief Medical Resident
• Attended University of Texas for Pulmonary-Critical Care and Sleep Fellowship and served as Chief Fellow
• Completed Board Certification in all specialties Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
• Serves in multiple committees and societies
• Presented multiple abstracts and publications in the field of Critical care and Sleep Medicine in US-China-Saudi Arabia-Dubai and Egypt
• Served as the President of Arabic American Medical Association in 2002 Texas
• Elected by ATS to be part of People to People Ambassador to China and Mongolia 2004 and Lectured in both Countries
